How do I know if I need counseling?
Trust your instincts. Most of us sense when something is awry in our lives. Trust those closest to you. Our families and close friends often notice when we are "off" before we see for ourselves.
How do I schedule an appointment?
You can schedule an intake appointment by calling 715-343-5256. We will ask you information about your reason for seeking services and current insurance information so that we can schedule you with an appropriate clinician.
Will my insurance cover services?
Our administrative staff will be able to help you determine whether our clinic accepts your insurance coverage. However, it is your responsibility to make sure that our clinic and the therapist you see are in-network providers with your insurance company. There is usually a customer service number for members on the back of your insurance card that you can call where you will be able to speak with an insurance agent who will help guide you to an in-network provider.
Benefits vary by insurance company. It is a good idea to check with your insurance company to verify what you are responsible to pay in regards to your deductible, co-pay, and co-insurance.

How often do I need to be seen?
Length of treatment is usually assessed and determined during the first and second session.
How is family involved in therapy and treatment?
It varies with age, type of concerns, nature of family relationships, and interactions. With children under 8, parents need to be present for the initial sessions. Extent of the family involvement will be discussed with the therapist during the first, and if needed, second session.
